If you are facing an emergency or financial hardship, follow the steps below to apply for help.

Email humanservices@ashlandmass.com with the subject title ‘Request for AEF Assistance’
Include your name, phone, and Ashland address
Provide a brief message about your situation and reasons seeking assistance
A social worker in the Ashland Department of Human Services will reach out for more information to determine eligibility for AEF funding
Eligible applicants are moved to AEF for direct screening and payment
