Rediscover Ashland Day 2005

Ashland Businesses Pitch In to Help the AEF

During the Rediscover Ashland Day on June 11, 2005, local businesses made donations toward a raffle that benefited the AEF. The raffle raised money for the AEF and winners were drawn on June 30, 2005. The following businesses graciously donated.

• O'Hara and Company provided the materials for a 12 x 12 foot limestone patio. Richmond Development Corporation and The Homes Connection each contributed $250 to the winner's cost of installing the patio.
• Power Tune provided one lucky winner with oil changes and lubrication for the Life of One Car! In addition, they performed a tire rotation and wheel alignment as part of the start-up operation to get the car in shape.
• Beckongreen donated 5% of of their gross revenue on Re-Discover Ashland Day to the Ashland Emergency Fund.
• Anonymously, two Personal DVD Players were donated to the raffle.

Pittaway School 100 Day Donation

The Kindergarten students at Pittaway School celebrated their 100th day of school in February with counting games. As part of their celebration, each Kindergartners brought $1 in 100 pennies to school. Afterwards, the approximate total of $200 was donated to the AEF.
